Kongo Volleyball Academy is a perfect introduction to the game of volleyball for beginners or young players.

Each 60 minute sessions build a strong foundation which is repeated over a 3-month commitment. This consistent approach allows our coaches to work closely with each athlete, nurturing their skills and volleyball IQ.

Session already started? No problem. Join mid-session with prorated fees for the remaining months. We would love to have your young athlete join us. Come see what it's all about!

Keiki (6-9 Years Old)

Designed for our youngest athletes focusing on learning volleyball fundamentals
Emphasizes learning through fun and active participation in various games
Teaches quick and effective movement in all directions within limited space
Develops skills in catching and throwing a ball over the net
Covers techniques for controlling incoming balls and scoring points on opponents' court

Level One

Focuses on movement, ball handling, and cooperation
Teaches how to move and cover space with a partner effectively
Develops skills in controlling the ball to score points against opponents
Emphasizes cooperation with a partner to build plays using three contacts

Level two

Focus on playing collectively and developing structured gameplay
Learn to build plays using three consecutive contacts
Practice maintaining rallies with partners using three consecutive contacts
Progress to coordinating defensive and offensive plays using three contacts

Level Three

Transition athletes to confidently participate in 6v6 team play
Provide game-like repetitions for building confidence and cooperative play
Focus on skill development, repetition training, and basic game skills
Offer mini-games and round-robin tournaments for challenging experiences
Prepare athletes for competitive team participation
